Kevin Supple, CFO of the Francis Howell School District, Missouri, has been recognized as ASBO’s International Eagle Award, the highest honor the Association bestows upon its members. The award is presented annually to a business official who demonstrates exceptional leadership and an exemplary commitment to education and the school business profession. The honor comes with a $5,000 college scholarship to present to a high school student, a crystal Eagle Award, and an invitation to the ASBO International Eagle Institute next summer.
Supple received the award on August 17th at the 2011 ASBO International Annual Meeting and Expo in Seattle. ASBO International stated, “Not only does Supple understand the intricacies of finance, he also has a deep understanding of the educational needs of students, thereby guiding the Francis Howell district toward sound financial decisions that increase student achievement for all…. A true team player, he works closely with the executive leadership team as well as school-based staff to maximize limited resources and give the students the kind of education that will serve them well.”
Supple has served almost eight years as chairman of the ASBO International Risk Management Committee. He is an original Board Member of the Public School Risk Institute and serves on the Executive Committee.
The Institute joins in recognizing Kevin Supple for his achievements and his commitment to leadership in public education.
