Hollywood Filmmakers Use Public Schools

February 27, 2009 by Lee Gaby

Memorial Stadium in Dekalb County was one of the sites used in the film “We Are Marshall.” If your school district has an opportunity for national exposure and onsite use by film producers, you can find a special Facility Use Agreement in the Institute Topical Library. Mike Florio, risk manager for Dekalb County Schools would be happy to share his hollywood contract negotiation experience with you.

The Institute library is now accepting new submissions. Please send us your documents and let others know that we are collecting and cataloging resources from across the US and Canada. The library has more than 40 volumes and 200 subcategories.

Web-brarian Emily Schmidt, CPCU, is available to assist in searches. She can be reached at emilyschmidt@schoolrisk.org
